SKILLS FOR TOMORROW

This program consists of three core components and encompasses 430 hours of training delivered over 16 months: 340 hours of English language instruction, 50 hours of computer skills, and 40 hours of leadership and community service.

MENA Scholarship Support Fund (MSSF)

Amideast’s own MENA Scholarship Support Fund (MSSF) makes the dream of study in the United States possible for highly qualified students from underserved populations in Libya. Through this initiative, Amideast identifies students of exceptional accomplishment and promise who wish to pursue undergraduate study at an American college or university but cannot afford to do so.

OVERVIEW

The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program provides scholarships for high school students to study for one academic year in the United States. YES students live with a host family, attend an American high school, acquire leadership skills, and engage in activities to learn about U.S. society and values; they also help educate Americans about their home country and culture.
