Fulbright Alumni Community Action Grant - Social Media Grant Guidelines

Please follow the ACAG Guidelines for project promotion, outreach and communication

As part of your ACAG grant, we encourage you to promote and post about your activity on social media. Grantees who use social media as part of their activity are requested to notify Amideast about their posting so the ACAG update can be shared and highlighted on Fulbright social media platforms. So don't forget to take pictures and submit your news to the Amideast/Fulbright communications team.

Fulbright Alumni Awarded Community Action Grants for 2022

In 2022, five Fulbright Program alumni from Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt were selected to implement a new round of ACAG projects. These alumni were chosen for their ability to make a lasting impact in the MENA region through their unique initiatives that exemplify the spirit of the Fulbright Program.

The awarded alumni are Cyril Bassil; Mina Abdelsayed; Montadhar Al-Moussawi; Samira Abou Alfa; and Jomana Baddad. See their project descriptions and bios below to learn more about them!

ADG Frequently Asked Questions

I am a Fulbright Scholar alum from the Middle East and North Africa region, can I apply to the ADG?

Yes, alums from the Fulbright Foreign Student Program for the Middle East and North Africa, the Junior Faculty Development Program, and the Visiting Scholar Program for Iraq, whose Fulbright Programs were administered by Amideast are eligible to apply.

I am an FLTA alum from the Middle East and North Africa region, can I apply to the ADG?
