Employability Skills

Helping youth in Yemen surmount the steep hurdles they face in the country's competitive labor market is a core element of AMIDEAST's mission of expanding opportunity.

Our employability training programs draw on our Skills for Success® curriculum, designed to help recent graduates gain English language and other transferable skills valued in sectors of the region's economy linked to global trade.

We are pleased to partner with international and regional partners to offer programs. Please keep checking this page for new opportunities as they arise.

Nahdhat Shabab Project

The Yemen Youth Restoring Hope Project, also known as the Nahdhat Shabab Project, aims to empower Yemeni youth with skills that will enable them to contribute to the rebuilding of Yemen. Launched in 2017, it is funded by the U.S. Department of State and administered by AMIDEAST.
