This 30-hour course provides participants with basic photography skills which they will utilize in reflecting on topics of diversity, equity, inclusion, environmental protection, disability, and human rights. The program is primely directed towards channeling the young participants to see and recognize social injustice and then look for and suggest solutions, all through using the camera. The Photography for a Better Future program includes field visits to enable the participants to capture various aspects of social injustice for which they will identify potential solutions.
The training is scheduled to run during the period of June - July 2023, taking place multiple times a week at Amideast Ramallah and America House Jerusalem.
- School students;
- Not a U.S. citizen or a Green Card Holder;
- Can attend face-to-face sessions in Ramallah or in Jerusalem;
- Is available in June and July for the training;
