Amideast/Lebanon is looking for interns who are detail-oriented, able to multitask, and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.

We will seek to match your qualifications with our needs in order to meet your expectations for learning and growth and to help us achieve our goals.

The schedule of the internship can be flexible and will be discussed and agreed upon during the interview.

HOW TO APPLY

Interning at Amideast

Interns come away with IT, computer, and organizational skills valued in the workplace. They are able to practice their English and other communication skills while functioning in an environment that gives them insights into how an international NGO operates. They may additionally gain from opportunities to assist in teaching, implementing programs, and working with youth.

Thanks to the support of the U.S. Embassy to Libya, Amideast is pleased to announce that we are currently accepting applications for a Professional Certificate in English Language Teaching (PCELT) course to be held in Tripoli this summer.

The 120-hour program is intended for current and aspiring teachers who are proficient English speakers, with little or no teaching background, as well as for experienced teachers who wish to upgrade their knowledge and skills based on the latest language teaching methodologies and emerging trends in the field.

Amideast/Yemen Internship Program

The Amideast Internship Program designed to give university students and recent high school graduates an opportunity to gain relevant work experience in a professional environment.

About

Interns have the opportunity to get trained in one of many areas offered by this program, gaining experience in the use of the English language as well as developing administrative skills. The minimum commitment is six months, and preference is given to those who have strong English skills and no prior work experience.

J-1 Visa Program

The primary objectives of the programs are to enhance the skills and expertise of exchange visitors in their academic or occupational fields through participation in structured and guided work-based training and internship programs and to improve participants' knowledge of American techniques, methodologies, and technology.
