Amideast is glad to launch the 2024 Young Learners Summer Program, entitled “English Explorers”. The program aims to provide a memorable, educational, and fun experience that not only enhances EFL students' language skills but also enriches their understanding of the world. By the end of the summer, students will have not only improved their English proficiency but also gained confidence, knowledge, and friends.
Amideast’s English language courses give young learners an early start on the road to becoming proficient, confident users of English, able to take advantage of educational and career opportunities.
Between 2007 and 2017, Camp Discovery served thousands of mainly at-risk youth ages 8-14 from refugee camps in the West Bank with funding from the U.S. Consul General in Jerusalem and in partnership with UNRWA.
Since summer 2017, Amideast has offered Camp Discovery modelled on the successful West Bank program in Tunisia, benefiting at-risk youth in and around Bizerte.
The Access Program offers two years of English language instruction and additional workshops and activities designed to improve participants' appreciation of U.S. culture and values, encourage critical thinking and open-mindedness, and improve their performance in regular school classes.
The Youth English Program (YEP), funded by the U.S. Department of State, managed by Amideast and in collaboration with local partner Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research (AQF), provides English skills and activities to UAE national school students. We have concluded 5 cohorts of the program since 2018 reaching 365 students in total.
The Access Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State, offers two years of English language instruction and additional workshops that introduce the youth to American culture, community service, policy issues, and career enhancement resources.
Our courses and programs help young learners of different levels explore and experience English in an interactive, age-appropriate environment.
