Experience AI is an 8-hour teacher training program developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and Google DeepMind and delivered by Amideast. The program helps teachers introduce students to the foundations of AI and empowers them to become critical and responsible users. Young people will also benefit from new resources on AI safety, including how to protect their data.

PROGRAM APPLICATION:

Q1: When did the program start, and when did Saudi Arabia join the program?
A1: The program was established by the U.S. Congress in October 2002 and officially started in Saudi Arabia in 2005. Our first student participated in the program in 2005. In Saudi Arabia, AMIDEAST manages the YES program in partnership with the local U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Office.

Dear SAT Test Taker,

As you are aware, the Government of Saudi Arabia requires any individual entering a public location to open and display the TAWAKKALNA app. As a reminder, all SAT test center staff and test takers should have the TAWAKKALNA app downloaded, active, and ready to be reviewed on their mobile phone in order to be permitted entry to the test center site.

About the YES Program

YES students are chosen to serve as "youth ambassadors" of their home country. During their year in the U.S., they live with a host family, attend an American high school, and participate in leadership and cultural exchange activities. Through these experiences, they learn about U.S. society and values while educating Americans about Saudi Arabia and its rich cultural heritage.
