The MENA region’s youth unemployment rates are among the world’s highest—and are especially high for women and recent college graduates.

Working with international and regional partners, Amideast offers programs tailored to meet the needs of young men and women for skills training that enables them to transcend the hurdles to unemployment in the competitive MENA region job markets. These programs utilize Amideast's Skills for Success® curriculum, designed to help recent graduates gain English language and other transferable skills that are valued in sectors of the region's economy that are linked to global trade.

However, employers today are looking for more than just technical skills. Skills for Success provides training in essential, transferable job skills such as English language proficiency, problem solving, critical thinking, and computer skills.
