AP Exams – Advanced Placement® Program
The Advanced Placement (AP®) Program, developed by the College Board, gives provides secondary school students the opportunity to take college-level courses and exams while still in school and to meet local requirements for secondary American high school diploma acceptance.
Additionally, by earning a qualifying score on an AP Exam, students can sometimes receive university credit, skip introductory courses, and stand out in competitive college admissions at many U.S. institutions of higher education.
Amideast Jordan is an authorized College Board testing center offering AP Exams to students in Jordan. Whether you attend an AP school or are homeschooled, you can register for and take your exams through the Amideast testing center.

What are AP Exams?
AP Exams are college-level tests created by the College Board that allow secondary school students to earn university credit, gain advanced placement, and demonstrate academic readiness for college.
Who can take AP Exams at Amideast?
High school students under the age of 21 can register for AP Exams through Amideast in select countries.
How do AP Exams help with university admissions?
Strong AP scores show universities that you can succeed in rigorous courses, helping your application stand out. Many universities also grant college credit, which can save time and tuition.
When are AP Exams offered?
AP Exams are offered each May, with Regular and Late Testing windows[AD1.1]. The schedule is fixed and provided by the College Board.
How do I register?
Students in Jordan register through Amideast, complete their payment, and then finalize their seat reservation on the College Board by signing in to myap.collegeboard.org using their College Board student account. The registration window opens September 1 for the upcoming May testing window. The first registration deadline is in November, and the late window registration deadline is in March. Your ID and your College Board login information are required to register in person or through Amideast’s eShop.
What should I bring on exam day?
Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your exam time, bring a valid government-issued ID (passport recommended), your fully charged device for digital exams with the Bluebook app installed, approved calculators, and pencils or.

Students may register for AP Exams online through the Amideast website or in person at the Amideast office in Wadi Abdoun. Follow these simple steps to complete your registration:
STEP 1: Complete Your Registration Payment.
Complete your registration payment through the Amideast website or at the Amideast office. Once your payment has been processed, you will receive an Enrollment Join Code for your selected subject(s).
Important: Once your AP Exam registration has been submitted and finalized, subjects cannot be added, changed, or removed. Please ensure that you select the correct subject(s) before completing your registration.
STEP 2: Sign in to my AP:
Sign in to myap.collegeboard.org using your College Board student account.
If you do not have a student account, click "Create Account" and complete your full name (must match your ID), date of birth, school name, graduation year, and personal email address.
If you already have an account but cannot log in, do not create another account. Contact AP Services for Students at +1-212-632-1780 or via cb.org/apstudentcontact.
STEP 3: Exam Enrollment Using Your Join Code
To complete the enrollment process, enter the unique Exam Join Code for each exam. The code will be sent by email for (online registrations) or provided by a Customer Service Officer at the Amideast office for (in-person registrations).
Verify that the displayed information matches your exam and click "Yes".
STEP 4: VERIFY YOUR EXAMS AND COLLEGE BOARD ACCOUNT DETAILS
- Log into My AP College Board at myap.collegeboard.org with College Board (CB) account.
- Confirm paid exams appear correctly in My AP (subject, date, and test provider).
- Confirm Name and DOB on CB Account matches Info on legal ID you will bring on exam day.
- Fix discrepancies as soon as possible before exam day.
Contact Amideast:
- If not, all registered exams appear correctly in My AP/AP Classroom (wrong date/subject, not registered).
Contact AP Services for Students:
- If registered exams are missing in My AP/AP Classroom.
- If multiple CB accounts need to be merged.
- If legal name, gender, date of birth on CB Account doesn’t match info on ID you’re bringing
on exam day.

Materials to Bring:
• Arrive at the test center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time.
• Bring a valid physical photo ID (government-issued such as a National ID or passport, or a school-issued ID).
• Bring a fully charged testing device — a laptop (Mac or Windows) or an iPad with the Bluebook application installed.
• Also bring: your device’s charger and an external keyboard (required if you're using a tablet for a fully digital exam).
• Bring two No. 2 pencils with erasers or pens with black or dark blue ink for taking notes on the test center-provided scratch paper.
• Bring up two approved calculators (only if permitted for the exam you are taking).
• For the AP Physics Exam: bring a ruler or straightedge (required).
Prohibited Items:
• Mobile phones (must be turned off and will not be used during the exam).
• Smartwatches or any wearable technology.
• Headphones.
• Cameras.
• Books, notebooks, or any test-related materials.
• Mechanical pencils, No. 3 pencils.
Reschedule & Cancellation Policy
Rescheduling is not permitted. However, if a candidate wishes to cancel their exam appointment, the cancelation request must be submitted at least by March 4, 2027.
A refund of JD100 will apply for each exam cancelled prior March 4, 2027.
On test day, if a candidate is in violation of any of the check-in polices regarding valid government issued photo IDs and is not admitted, or if the student is a no-show for an exam, the exam fee will not be refunded.
