Program objectives

By working with local, regional, and international partners—including USAID, Boeing, and the U.S. Embassy—Amideast is empowering Egypt’s youth to participate in efforts to address climate and other sustainability challenges that are facing their communities and country.  

Our English Courses for Future Leaders have a new look.

Introducing English for Future Leaders is a new look for English courses for our young leaders. Students will understand how to effectively communicate using English to discuss relevant global topics to become future leaders.

Amideast's Academic Young Learner’s program provides learners with a strong foundation in practical English communication skills. By focusing on early language development, we equip students with the tools they need to excel academically, pursue global opportunities, and become confident communicators.is a dynamic program designed to equip young learners with the English skills they need to succeed in today's world. Through interactive lessons, hands-on activities, and expert teachers, we help children become confident communicators, critical thinkers, and global citizens.

Amideast is glad to launch the 2024 Young Learners Summer Program, entitled “English Explorers”.  The program aims to provide a memorable, educational, and fun experience that not only enhances EFL students' language skills but also enriches their understanding of the world. By the end of the summer, students will have not only improved their English proficiency but also gained confidence, knowledge, and friends.

The program, initially offered at the STEM Center with funding from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, equips students with the knowledge and skill sets of the 21st century to become active participants and make a change.

STEM is a learning pedagogy that emphasizes an interdisciplinary, applied approach to learning the four subjects in question ̶science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, commonly referred to as STEM. It incorporates hands-on learning and experimentation to promote the development of critical thinking and innovation in youth and children. With an emphasis on engineering, the approach also encourages young professionals to create new inventions that respond to the changing needs of the global economy.
