English Access Scholarship (Access) Program

The English Access Scholarship (Access) Program is a U.S. Department of State-funded, free program that provides talented teenagers with a strong foundation in American English through after-school classes, intensive learning sessions, and cultural enrichment activities.

Access goes beyond English! Participants develop valuable communication, leadership, and life skills that can open doors to better educational and employment opportunities. They also gain the skills and confidence to compete for future U.S. exchange programs and study opportunities in the United States.

THE PROGRAM

The Access Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State, offers 18-month of American English language instruction and additional workshops that introduce the youth to American culture, community service, and career enhancement resources.

The program’s curriculum strengthens English speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills, and American extracurricular activities provide additional opportunities to improve English language proficiency as well as help build leadership skills and promote personal development.
