The TOEFL iBT^® test is the most widely-recognized English language proficiency test in the world, used by over 11,500 institutions in over 160 countries. Find institutions that accept TOEFL iBT scores in the TOEFL^® Destinations Search.

Take the TOEFL iBT test at an Amideast center or an Amideast-partnered institution. Contact your local Amideast office for more information.

Be sure to register early as test centers can fill quickly. Taking a TOEFL^® test at least two to three months before your earliest application deadline is recommended. Taking it even earlier will allow you to re-test if you are not satisfied with your results.

The TOEFL iBT^® test now only takes 2 hours. It's an Internet-based test (iBT) that assesses reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills for academic contexts.

You can view your unofficial Listening and Reading scores at the end of your test. You can also get your full, official scores as soon as 4-8 days after your test. Official score reports will be sent directly to the institutions you designated when you registered. 

Score information is kept by ETS. Amideast does not have access to this information. If you are missing your score report, please contact ETS.

You can order additional score reports through your ETS account throughout the test’s two-year validity period. Click here to register online.

No credit card? No problem. Amideast offices offer a local registration service allowing you to pay for your TOEFL iBT^® test in local currency by purchasing a voucher. Test vouchers are nonrefundable. Contact your local Amideast office for more information.

Online registration closes 7 days before the scheduled test date. Late registration closes 4 days before the scheduled test date and has a late fee of US$40.

When selecting a test date, consider your deadlines.

• Pick a test date at least 2 to 3 months before your earliest admissions deadline to ensure your scores will be reported in time.
• Score reports are sent to your designated score recipients approximately 8–16 days after your test date.

There are a number of test centers located in Palestine that you can take the test in, the Amideast West Bank test center is located at the Amideast Ramallah office. Each test administration has a set scheduled start, therefore it is best to arrive at least 30 minutes befor your scheduled appointment.
