Thousands of accredited colleges and universities will award undergraduate course credit for success on the CLEP® tests developed by the College Board and/or the DSST® tests offered by Prometric.

Per the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education announcement that was released on February 15th 2021, students are now required to take pass all sections of the SAT Reasoning Test and:

  • For students that graduated high school before 2021 to pass 6 SAT and/or AP and/or CLEP subjects
  • For students graduating in the year 2021 to 2022 will be required to pass 5 SAT and/or AP and /or CLEP subjects.
  • For students graduating in the year 2023 and after will be required to pass 4  AP and /or CLEP subjects.

The Tawjihi Equivalency minimum score requirement is set as follows:

  • AP: 2 and above
  • CLEP: 35 and above
  • SAT: 400 and above

The CLEP subject seat reservation process at Amideast testing centers is a four-step process:

  1. Learn about CLEP and determine which CLEP Subject Exam you wannt to take.
  2. Register for your CLEP Exam through your CollegeBoard CLEP Account
    • You will select the exam you want and pay the exam registration fee on CollegeBoard. You can pay online ($93) or in our office (415ils) per subject.
    • One you have registered for your exam, THEN you will need to book your appointment.
  3. Schedule and pay (95ils) for your appointment to take your test at Amideast. This can be done:
    • Directly online through Amideast Registration site
    • Through the local registration service offered throughout Amideast/West Bank offices
  4. Prepare for your test, then take your test at the scheduled time.
