Tawjihi Equivalency

The Tawjihi equivalency requirements.

Amideast/West Bank - Gaza is the SAT/CLEP/AP Tawjihi equivalency service provider / auditor for the Palestinian Ministry of Education and preferred service provider in providing information on U.S. education and the accreditation status of particular institutions.

This procedure is subject to change depending on new regulations and / or amendments set by the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education

Requirements:

  • Completed grades 10 to 12 and successfully graduated from a school that:
    • Follows the American Curriculum in a Palestine.
      And / Or
    • An American accredited school either in the USA or internationally.
  • SAT Reasoning and 4 CEP and /or AP Subjects per the following breakdown:

    • If you are applying for Tawjihi Scientific Stream Equivalency you will need to pass:

      Precalculus or Calculus, 2 scientific subjects, and 1 elective subject

    • If you are applying for Tawjihi Literature Stream Equivalency you will need to pass:

      Any math subject, and 3 other subjects

Note the elective subject should not be:

  • A mathematical subject
  • A subject that is part two of a subject you previously took.

Amideast West Bank offices will only verify SAT and CLEP score reports for those directly sent to our organization directly from College Board

Once the scores are received, you can pass by our office and submit a score verification request.

How to send us your scores:

SAT score recipient process and fees:

You will need to select DI 5027 as one of your four free score recipients as part of the registration process, or within 9 days after the test date.

If you miss the deadline to add the free score recipients, you can request the score report to be sent to us for a fee of $12 per report from your account. If you are unable to order the scores, Amideast West Bank offices can order the scores on your behalf for a fee of 105ils per score report, a request will need to be submitted at the nearest Amideast West Bank office for this request. Scores will be received within 14 days.

CLEP score recipient process and fees:

During the registration process you will need to add Amideast West Bank (DI code 8735) as one of your two free score recipients. After the registration you can request for the report to be sent to us for a fee of $20 per report.  If you are unable to order the scores, Amideast West Bank offices can order the scores on your behalf for a fee of 120ils per score report, a request will need to be submitted at the nearest Amideast West Bank office for this request. Scores will be received within 7 days.

AP score recipient process and fees:

You get one free score send every year you take AP Exams, please add DI 5027 as a score recipient. If you want to send additional score reports or send a score report after the free score send deadline, you can do so online anytime for a fee of $15. The score delivery takes about 7-14 business days.

 

SAT/CLEP/AP Score Verification Process

 

After you confirm with the Amideast West Bank testing department that your scores have been received you will need to pass by the Amideast office and submit a score verification request, the fees for this as follows:

- 1 Copy: 80 ils

- 2 copies: 100 ils

- 3 copies: 120 ils

This process will be done on the spot at Amideast Ramallah office, if you are submitting this request at one of the other field offices you will need to wait up to 10 business days for the scores to be sent to the office you are submitting the request in.

Kindly note that the next process is for you to take the score verification report, along with your 10th, 11th and 12th grade transcripts that are stamped from Palestinian Ministry Directorate stamped to the Palestinian Ministry for Higher Education, where here you will submit the Palestinian Tawjihi Equivalency Request.
