Educational Advising—Gaza

Amideast hosts the EducationUSA advising center in Gaza on behalf of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. As part of the EducationUSA network of more than 425 advising centers worldwide, it maintains EducationUSA ethical standards.

SERVICES

The EducationUSA center in Gaza offers a full range of services to help students and professionals access higher education at more than 4,000 U.S. colleges and universities. These services include:

  • free introductory public information sessions on various aspects of U.S. education 
  • individual consultations on U.S. study
  • application support services
  • access to our extensive collections of materials on U.S. and regional educational opportunities available for public use

Accredited U.S. institutions are welcome to participate in direct videoconferences on various aspects of U.S. study, and otherwise help those that the center serves to learn more about U.S. education. Amideast also facilitates visits to Gaza by U.S. university recruiters and touring U.S. college fair groups.

All sessions are free and open to the public.
