Palestinian Narratives for Social Change

This comprehensive 60-hour funded/free program aims at empowering and training six groups of university graduates or university students from the West Bank and Jerusalem, in the art of digital storytelling. The program focuses on tolerance, gender equity, empathy, and human dignity. The program aims to equip participants with the skills needed to effectively express their experiences and amplify their voices within their communities.

The program offers a project based intensive training and group coaching. Through these resources, participants will enhance their storytelling abilities, and gain confidence in sharing their social stories on digital platforms.


Eligibility Criteria:
1) University student or graduate (B.A. degree).
2) Residing in Jerusalem or the West Bank.
3) Upper-intermediate English language skills.
4) Proactive and eager for social change, storytelling, and use of digital platforms.
5) Is not a U.S citizen or green card holder.

Training Period: February 2024 to May 2024

Training Schedule: Two times a week, face-to-face meetings at Amideast offices (Jerusalem, Ramallah, Hebron, Nablus)
