About the MSSFAmideast's MENA Scholarship Support Fund (MSSF) enables highly qualified students from underserved communities in the Middle East and North Africa to pursue undergraduate study in the United States. Through this program, Amideast identifies exceptional students who demonstrate promise, but lack the financial means to attend an American college or university. MSSF provides support to students admitted to U.S. colleges and universities with generous financial aid packages by closing the gap in cost of attendance. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®Who Should Attend?The course is recommended for project team members and entry-level or junior project managers, as well as qualified undergraduate and graduate students, who want a credential to recognize their value to project team performance. The main pre-requisites for taking the CAPM® exam according to PMI®: Camp DiscoveryBetween 2007 and 2017, Camp Discovery served thousands of mainly at-risk youth ages 8-14 from refugee camps in the West Bank with funding from the U.S. Consul General in Jerusalem and in partnership with UNRWA. Since summer 2017, Amideast has offered Camp Discovery modelled on the successful West Bank program in Tunisia, benefiting at-risk youth in and around Bizerte.
English Access Microscholarship (Access) ProgramAboutThe Access Program offers two years of English language instruction and additional workshops and activities designed to improve participants' appreciation of U.S. culture and values, encourage critical thinking and open-mindedness, and improve their performance in regular school classes. Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) — EGYPTOver a two-year period, the partnership between Amideast/Egypt and Citi provided training, coaching, incubation, and other support to more than 40 aspiring young Egyptian entrepreneurs, with more than 16 companies among them. In addition, the program's emphasis on paying-it-forward raised awareness of entrepreneurship among more than 1,500 youth, thereby contributing to building a new generation of entrepreneurs. |
