Most universities require TOEFL® ITP Level 1, designed for intermediate to advanced English learners. Some universities also use TOEFL ITP Level 2, for lower-level learners, for entry to their English language programs or for other purposes. AMIDEAST testing dates are all for TOEFL® ITP Level 1 testing.

The TOEFL® ITP Level 1 test takes approximately two hours to complete. It includes multiple-choice sections on listening comprehension, structure and written expression, and reading comprehension.

Following testing, you will receive a score report detailing your results. If you score at least at the B1 level on the internationally recognized Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), then you also have the option of ordering a certificate of achievement suitable for framing. Certificates are available at three levels: bronze (CEFR B1); silver (CEFR B2); or gold (CEFR C1).
