GRE® Test

Whether you want to go to graduate school, business school, law school, or are still exploring your options, the GRE© General Test can work for you. Accepted by thousands of advanced level study programs worldwide, GRE evaluates the key skills of analytic writing, verbal reasoning, and quantitative reasoning.

Some graduate programs will also ask you to take one or more GRE Subject Tests, available for the fields of biology, chemistry, literature in English, mathematics, physics, and psychology.

The GRE General Test is most commonly provided in a computer-based format, with administrations throughout the year. A paper-based version of the GRE General Test is administered up to three times per year in locations where computer testing is not dependable. The test takes approximately four hours to complete.

GRE Subject Tests are administered in a paper-based format three times per year, and each takes three hours to complete.

Score information is kept by ETS. AMIDEAST does not have access to this information. For questions on score reports, please contact ETS.
