Amideast is partnering with the U.S. Embassy to implement the Guidance Counselor Engagement Program (GCE). The program will aim to equip Egyptian high school guidance counselors with the knowledge and skills needed to support students as they apply to universities in the U.S.
Program Eligibility
The criteria for counselor selection includes but is not limited to:
- Demonstrated English proficiency level of B2-C1
- Previous Knowledge or 1-2 years of experience as a guidance counselor in Egypt
- Demonstrated commitment and passion for the profession
Application Requirements
The applicants should complete an application form and submit the following documents:
- Letter of motivation describing their interest in attending this training and how they will extend the benefits of this training to others.
- Letter of recommendation from a school head, principal or immediate supervisor
- Updated CV with recent photo
- Copies of the most recent English language proficiency exam score report
