D-RASATI

Beginning in 2013, Amideast supported Developing Rehabilitation Assistance to Schools and Teachers Improvement (D-RASATI) 2, a five-year project designed to improve student learning in Lebanon's public schools.

Launched in October 2013, the $24.5 million USAID-funded D-Rasati 2 project built on the achievements of phase 1 (2011–13) and contributed to the implementation of Lebanon’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE)’s Education Sector Development Plan.

Amideast worked in collaboration with World Learning to realize key objectives of the project, including bolstering processes for developing leadership of public schools and strengthening the role of extracurricular activities.

Among its chief contributions, Amideast developed 25 extracurricular activity modules for adoption at 1,031 intermediate and secondary public schools.
