AeroSTAR Program

AeroSTAR – Building the Next Generation of Aviation & Aerospace Leaders

Delivered by Amideast • Supported by Boeing

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The AeroSTAR Program is a regional initiative designed to introduce high school youth across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to the world of aviation and aerospace. Through immersive learning, hands-on STEM activities, field visits, and connection with industry professionals, the program empowers young people to explore the careers shaping the future of flight.

With support from Boeing, AeroSTAR equips youth not only with technical and soft skills, but also with exposure to real industry environments—helping build the region’s future aviation and aerospace talent pipeline.

In 2026, the program will engage 216 youth, ages 15–18, across five countries: Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, and the United Arab Emirates.

WHY AEROSTAR?

Aviation and aerospace are among the fastest-growing sectors in the MENA region. These industries support everything from emergency response and logistics to green aviation, airport operations, advanced engineering, and even space exploration.

Yet many young people remain unaware of the wide range of careers available. AeroSTAR helps bridge that gap by giving participants the knowledge, skills, and confidence to imagine—and prepare for—a future in these high-impact fields.
