The Fulbright Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, is the flagship international educational exchange program designed to foster mutual understanding among nations through educational and cultural exchange. Amideast administers the Fulbright Foreign Student Program for the Middle East and North Africa on behalf of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. This highly prestigious scholarship program up to two-year fellowship, which provides full funding for up to two academic years to achieve a Master’s graduate degree at a U.S. university.
Are you a Palestinian student planning to pursue a Master’s or PhD at an SGFP-eligible university in the U.S. or UK? You may be eligible for support from the Sousou Graduate Fellows Program (SGFP).
SGFP provides support to exceptional Palestinian students pursuing graduate studies at top-tier universities in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Applicants of all English skill levels are invited to apply to the Fulbright Program. As most American graduate degree programs require a minimum score of 80 on the iBT TOEFL exam for admission, applicants who are nominated to the Fulbright Program tend to possess strong English proficiency. However, otherwise qualified Fulbright nominees in need of enhanced English language training may be invited to participate in a Long-Term English (LTE) program. If you participate in an LTE program, you will live on a U.S. university campus and take part in an intensive English language program.
