Teacher Development Certificate (TDC) — Fundamentals in TESOL

AMIDEAST’s Teacher Development Certificate (TDC) — Fundamentals in TESOL course is designed to meet the needs of English language teachers seeking to improve their classroom practices.

The 60-hour program is intended for teachers with little or no teaching background, as well as for individuals wishing to make a career shift to teaching. TDC provides a foundation in key principles and approaches in English language teaching and develops the skills needed to plan and deliver learner-centered lessons using the latest methodologies. TDC is offered at AMIDEAST’s Dokki center, and can also be customized for the different needs of schools and educational organizations aiming to offer professional development opportunities for their teachers.
