Reading articles, stories, and informational texts 
Writing messages, emails, and structured texts 
Improving grammar and vocabulary for clear communication

General English Course:

  • The course has 5 stages, and each stage includes 4 levels.
  • Each level lasts 4.5 weeks.
  • There are 2 sessions per week, with a total of 9 live (synchronous) sessions and 7.5 hours of asynchronous self-paced study per level.
  • Each session is 2.5 hours of instruction. 

 

 

Learning Outcomes  

Foundations Stage

By the end of this stage, students will be able to: 
• write short personal texts, messages, emails, and simple stories 
• talk about personal information, routines, past events, and future plans 
• understand main ideas in basic conversations and everyday audio 
• read short articles, stories, and online content and identify key details 
• use core vocabulary and basic grammar including present, past, and future forms 
• recognize common sounds, stress patterns, and simple visual information

Developing Stage

By the end of this stage, students will be able to: 
• write organized descriptions, emails, and short stories on familiar topics 
• discuss ideas, explain experiences, and express opinions in conversations 
• understand main ideas and details in conversations, talks, and short programs 
• interpret blogs, articles, and guides and identify the writer’s purpose 
• use a wider range of vocabulary and grammar, including present perfect 
• apply appropriate stress and intonation and analyze charts and images

 

Intermediate Stage

By the end of this stage, students will be able to: 
• write structured emails, articles, reviews, and narratives 
• participate confidently in discussions, presentations, and interviews 
• understand conversations, interviews, and talks on travel, culture, and technology 
• analyze articles, reports, and blogs to identify opinions and evidence 
• use conditionals, passive voice, reported speech, and topic‑specific vocabulary 
• use natural pronunciation patterns and evaluate information on social issues

 

Advanced Stage

By the end of this stage, students will be able to: 
• produce well‑structured essays, reviews, and professional communication 
• speak fluently in discussions, presentations, and workplace contexts 
• understand extended conversations, lectures, and podcasts 
• interpret complex texts and recognize tone, purpose, and credibility 
• use advanced grammar accurately and apply sophisticated vocabulary 
• analyze visual and written information and form informed viewpoints

 

Proficient Stage

By the end of this stage, students will be able to: 
• write clear analytical texts such as reports and essays 
• discuss complex topics including culture, careers, and innovation 
• understand detailed discussions and professional communication 
• analyze texts critically and summarize key ideas 
• use advanced grammar structures and topic‑specific vocabulary 
• evaluate information from written and visual sources

REFUND & Transfer POLICY

1. Transfer Policy 

  • Customers are allowed one free transfer only from one round to another.
  • Free transfer must be requested at least 3 working days before the course start date.
  • If a transfer is requested before the 2nd session, a 15% fee from the original course price will apply.
  • If the next round includes any changes made by AMIDEAST, the refund policy will apply.

 

2. Refund Policy

  • Full refund applies if AMIDEAST cancels a class in a round.
  • 15% deduction applies if the refund is requested up to 3 working days before the start date.
  • 25% deduction applies if the refund is requested after the 1st session and before the 2nd session, whether the student attended or not.
  • No refund after the 2nd session.
  • Books and Placement test are non-refundable.

 

3. How to Request a Refund or Transfer

  • Online payment (Kashier): Requests must be submitted by calling the Call Center or through the branch. Refunds will be returned to the bank card within 14 working days.
  • Branch payment (Visa, Fawry, or Cash): Requests must be submitted in person at the branch during working hours. The customer must attend personally with their National ID to receive cash refunds.
  • All requests must follow the timeframes stated above. Requests submitted after deadlines will not be accepted.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Course books are available at the Amideast Customer Service Department.
  • Certificates are issued upon the completion of each stage.
