STEAM is a learning pedagogy that emphasizes an interdisciplinary, applied approach to learning the five subjects in question – science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. STEAM activities help children master more than subject matter; through project-based learning, STEAM empowers children to acquire future skills that they can use to succeed in any field.
With Boeing's support, Amideast STEM Center is launching a STEAM camp for kids aged 8-10 years old and 11-15 years old. The camp incorporates experiential, hands-on practical learning where kids will discover themselves, science, and arts.

What does each Track cover?
AI for Fun and Games:
This track is an excellent introduction to the world of robotics. Students will learn about the different components of a robot, how they work together, how to build their robots for specific tasks, and how to engineer robots that are safe and reliable. Children will also play games, perform tricks, and do other fun things.
Design Thinking
This track will teach the children the basics of design thinking, a creative problem-solving process, and the use of LEGO bricks to bring their ideas to life. The children will learn how to Understand the needs and want of the people using their design. They will also learn how to clearly articulate the problem that they are trying to solve and present their designs to others concisely.
Finding Yourself Through Arts and Drama
This track will teach children to explore the power of arts and drama to express themselves, connect with others, and make a difference in the world. Through a variety of activities, students will develop their creativity and imagination, improve their communication skills, build confidence and self-esteem, and learn to work collaboratively.
The Startup Guide for Young Entrepreneurs
This track will teach young entrepreneurs the basics of starting a business. students will learn how to Identify a business opportunity, develop a business idea, create a business plan, and build a team.
Green Science: A Kid's Guide to Saving the Planet
This track will teach children about the science behind environmental issues and how they can make a difference in the world. Children will explore the causes and effects of climate change, pollution, and other environmental problems, learn about sustainable practices that can help protect the planet, and design and build green products and projects.

- The camp offers 2 rounds (Month 1 and Month 2). The topics covered each month are different.

- Class A: 8-10 years
- Class B: 11-15 years
Camp applicants are required to take the TOEFL Junior test (cost included).
The TOEFL Junior test provides parents with an international-level assessment of the English Language proficiency of their kids, as it supports their access to knowledge in STEM fields
