TFI® Test

A standardized test that measures French proficiency on a single, continuous scale, the TFIâ„¢ test is for language learners of all levels, regardless of their occupation or background. Test scores indicate how well people can communicate in French with others in daily life and workplace settings.

The test does not require specialized knowledge beyond that of a person who uses French in everyday work activities.

The TFI test is paper-based test that takes around 110 minutes to complete. It includes 180 multiple-choice questions divided into listening and reading sections.

Following TFI testing, you will receive a score report to share with employers/universities. Amideast maintains testing records and can issue additional score reports during the two-year test validity period.

You also have the option of ordering a certificate suitable for framing to recognize your accomplishment.

Include a TFI™ test score on your résumé or CV, allowing potential employers to see immediately that you have the French language skills they need. You may also be able to use TFI scores as part of the admissions or exit testing process for university programs requiring knowledge of French.

The TFI test is the international standard for French language assessment of non-native speakers, certifying the everyday French skills of people working in international business or academic environments.

In addition to the score report you will receive, you can obtain a certificate suitable for framing to recognize your accomplishment.

• Registration is in-person at Amideast office, based on first come first served as seats are limited. 
• Test fee: $75.00 paid in US dollars only, either by cash, check or wire transfer.
