For over 50 years, AMIDEAST has played a vital role in facilitating educational programs between the United States and Yemen.  Our activities date back to 1952 when we began administering our first scholarship program for Yemenis. 

Our office in Sana'a officially opened in 1981 and our second office, in Aden, followed in 1998.  AMIDEAST is committed to providing the highest quality of educational and training services to the people of Yemen.
