THE PROGRAM
Amideast is offering TOEFL iBT test preparation course, funded by America House, for highly motivated participants looking to apply to colleges in the U.S. in the near future.
This 30-hour course designed to prepare students with the necessary information and skills in taking this high stakes English language proficiency exam. The course focuses on skill building for each section of the test. Students will be fully prepared to understand the following:
- Format of the test
- Outline of each section of the test
- The types of questions students are exposed to.
- Strategies for answering the different types of questions each section requires.
Students will be expected to participate in the course activities. Activities include:
- Answering sample test questions.
- Participation in group conversations.
- Demonstrating knowledge through questions and answers.
- Giving short presentations on each section of the test.
Training delivery:
Ramallah group start date: Thursday April 18, 2024
Ramallah training schedule: Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Hebron group start date: Thursday April 18, 2024
Hebron training schedule: Mondays and Thursdays from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Nablus group start date: Saturday April 20, 2024
Nablus training schedule: Saturdays and Tuesdays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Must be a Palestinian resident of West Bank, OR East Jerusalem;
- U.S. citizens or Green card holders are not eligible;
- Upper intermediate English Language Skills;
- Participants will require a laptop and a stable internet connection;
