Introduction to Entrepreneurship

This 65-hour skills development course is geared primarily towards high school students, focusing on basic entrepreneurial skills (45-hours) and English language instruction (15-hours) for business.

By the end of the course, participants will understand and be able to apply the core concepts of Entrepreneurship. The trainees will understand entrepreneurship as a potential career option, highlighting the local context and introducing international examples. Identifying and formulating the most essential skills entrepreneurs need to start and develop their own business.

The training includes:

  • Entrepreneurial characteristics.
  • Social entrepreneurship.
  • Entrepreneurial skills like leadership, problem solving, creative thinking, time management, and communication.
  • Participants will identify a problem, generate ideas, and plan a business.
  • Financing and investment.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 10th or 11th grade student to be;
  • University students (1st or 2nd year);
  • Not a U.S. citizen or a Green Card Holder;
  • Can attend face-to-face sessions in Ramallah or in Jerusalem;
  • Is available in June and July for the training;
  • Committed and passionate;
