Skills for Success program consists of two main components:
Part 1: Personal and professional skills such as communication skills, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork that provides participants with business-related technology skills. Skills for Success® provides youth with increased personal awareness, improved English language proficiency, workplace skills valued by employers, job search strategies and resources, and a community-impact experience.
Part 2: Participants will also benefit from a 20-hour Business English module designed to enhance their English language skills in areas such as grammar, reading, vocabulary, writing, listening, and speaking, all in a business context.
Eligibility Criteria:
- University students, fresh university graduates or a primary-level professionals.
- Residing in Jerusalem or the West Bank able to attend face to face training at Amideast offices.
- University graduate or student (B.A. degree)
- Upper-intermediate English language skills
- Is not a U.S citizen or green card holder.
Training Period: January 2024 to June 2024
Training Delivery: Two or three times a week face-to-face meetings at Amideast offices.
