Legal Clinic

Under the leadership of Abboud and Associates, the legal clinic will provide entrepreneurs in Lebanon with valuable free legal advice to help them:

  • Resolve legal issues for start-ups and SMEs that do not have current legal support
  • Answer legal questions about starting a business, registering companies, related taxation issues, etc.
  • Receive personalized legal guidance and consultation

Upon submitting an application, each entrepreneur would be assigned an attorney specialized in the field of the specific inquiry.

Arab Women’s Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP)

The Arab Women’s Entrepreneurship Project (AWEP) is a Citi Foundation-funded initiative, implemented by Amideast in Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, and the UAE. In each country 20 women will compete to be selected to participate in the program and receive:

15 Days of training on business skills, conducted in Arabic, on topics that include:

  • What makes a successful entrepreneur

  • How to register a business in Jordan

  • How to fund a new business or business growth

  • How to assess risk and feasibility

Amideast Entrepreneur Institute

The Amideast Entrepreneur Institute (AEI) seeks to advance entrepreneurship as a way of stimulating  job creation and economic growth in the Middle East and North Africa. Based in Beirut and open to those residing in the MENA region, AEI offers onsite and virtual training and other support to new and aspiring entrepreneurs as they seek to launch and grow their business ventures.  AEI's mission is to train, support, and help entrepreneurs network and build relevant business contacts.

Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) — EGYPT

Over a two-year period, the partnership between Amideast/Egypt and Citi provided training, coaching, incubation, and other support to more than 40 aspiring young Egyptian entrepreneurs, with more than 16 companies among them.

In addition, the program's emphasis on paying-it-forward raised awareness of entrepreneurship among more than 1,500 youth, thereby contributing to building a new generation of entrepreneurs.
