Program Description

The new program will allow participants to benefit from theoretical and practical activities related to aeronautics engineering and sustainability within the field. Students will learn how to connect sustainable concepts and approaches to the aeronautics industry. will focus on expanding students’ knowledge, awareness, and interest in both sustainability and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts under a general aeronautics engineering theme.

This new initiative addresses the skills mismatch that underlies the high rates of youth unemployment in the MENA region. It also seeks to foster global communication and contribute to the region's economic development.

The Youth English Program (YEP), funded by the U.S. Department of State, managed by Amideast and in collaboration with local partner Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research (AQF), provides English skills and activities to UAE national school students. We have concluded 5 cohorts of the program since 2018 reaching 365 students in total.
