Account Manager (UAE)

The representative is expected to be able to knowledgeably communicate about educational- and testing-related products to the public, private, and academic sectors; gather market intelligence; and provide input to social media campaigns among other duties. The Account Manager is responsible for an integrated academic sales plan covering CMD targets.

EL Programs & Institutional Development Programs Manager (Jordan)

Under the administrative supervision of the Senior Manager for Programs and Partnerships, the incumbent provides assistance in managing the English language, professional skills training, test preparation, and overall implementation and administrative operations of Amideast’s English Language programs as well as other donor-funded development, workforce, and youth-focused programs. S/he supports the marketing activities & development efforts of the department, leads curriculum development & assessment planning under the guidance of the Senior Manager for Programs and Partnerships, the Country Director, and Amideast’s regional experts, supports strategic field office objectives through cross-departmental coordination, performance evaluation of team staff and developing business plans, proposals, and business positioning in line with market trends and projected funding opportunities.

English Language Instructor (Jordan)

Amideast/Jordan is seeking to procure the services of 8 native-English speaking instructors to conduct English Language training courses for the duration of 24-months. The training will include language and skills development program and will be implemented in three difference locations within Jordan. The ideal candidates will be willing and able to live in Jordan for up to 24 months and will be responsible for teaching up to 25 hours per week using accredited English language curriculum and materials. Amideast will cover the travel, housing, and internal transportation. This is not a family post.

Facility Management Engineer (Egypt)

The position of the Facility Management Engineer (FME) is critical to maintaining the office property in Alexandria and ensuring its upkeep for the continued provision of Amideast services. The FME will apply engineering principles and techniques to maintain and optimize the facility. S/he work includes ensuring proper installations, renovations, and maintenance of the facility, maintain the upkeep of the property and the HVAC system with minimal operational disruption, lead facility improvement projects, and develop a robust facility maintenance plan in accordance with organizational objectives. S/he is also required to ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, and other regulatory requirements in his/her line of work as may be needed.

Program Assistant, Fulbright

The Program Assistant – Fulbright is a key member of the department charged with managing the Fulbright Foreign Student Program for the Middle East and North Africa. The incumbent will work in tandem with the assigned supervisor to support a student caseload, and perform placement activities. The incumbent also will assume responsibilities that pertain to and require the assistance of the Fulbright department as a whole. Therefore, the Program Assistant must be organized, diplomatic, team-focused, and pay keen attention to detail.

Program Manager (UAE)

The Program Manager is a key team member of Amideast/UAE and is responsible for the day-to-day management of all grant-funded and sponsored education, training, and professional development programs and activities featured in the program portfolio. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all technical, financial, and administrative aspects of each program is handled in a timely manner including the provision of quality training, the engagement of competent subject matter expert trainers, and the development and implementation of quality curricula. S/he is also responsible for ensuring that a solid M&E system is in place for each program to assess knowledge gains, to capture participant feedback, etc. In addition, s/he is responsible for ensuring that all required technical and financial reports are submitted to the client and to HQ in a timely manner. The Program Manager requires occasional in-country travel to Amideast/UAE branch offices and to project sites to monitor programs that are implemented across UAE.
