iBT® TOEFL

The TOEFL iBT® test, administered via the Internet, is an important part of your journey to study in an English-speaking country. The test measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level, and it evaluates how well you combine your listening, reading, speaking and writing skills to perform academic tasks.

More than 27 million people from all over the world have taken the TOEFL test to demonstrate their English-language proficiency. The average English skill level ranges between Intermediate and Advanced.

During the test, you are asked to perform tasks that combine more than one skill, such as:

  • Read, listen and then speak in response to a question
  • Listen and then speak in response to a question
  • Read, listen and then write in response to a question

Registration Process

You may register for the TOEFL iBT® test via the Internet on www.toefl.org or through Prometric Regional Registration Center (RRC) in the Netherlands at 0031-320-239-530.

If you do not have a credit card that works internationally, AMIDEAST offers a service allowing you to pay in local currency for a small additional fee. Please contact or visit our office for details.

Note that you must present a SIGNED & VALID PASSPORT or National Identification Card to the test center administrator on test day that matches exactly the name you entered when you registered for testing.

It is recommended to reserve your seat at least two months before your chosen test date, to ensure test seat availability.
