Educational Advising—West Bank

Amideast hosts the EducationUSA advising center in the West Bank/Ramallah on behalf of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. As part of the EducationUSA network of more than 425 advising centers worldwide, it maintains EducationUSA ethical standards

SERVICES

The EducationUSA center in the West Bank/Ramallah offers a full range of services to help students and professionals access higher education at more than 4,000 U.S. colleges and universities. These services include:

  • Free introductory public information sessions on various aspects of U.S. education.
  • Individual consultations on U.S. study.
  • Application support services.
  • Access to our extensive collections of materials on U.S. and regional educational opportunities available for public use.

Accredited U.S. institutions are welcome to participate in direct videoconferences on various aspects of U.S. study, and otherwise help those that the center serves to learn more about U.S. education. Amideast also facilitates visits to the West Bank by U.S. university recruiters and touring U.S. college fair groups.

All sessions are free and open to the public.

Competitive College Club

The Competitive College Club (CCC) is an EducationUSA initiative that aids top-tier students in building competitive applications to U.S. universities. The club provides sessions on Your 5 Steps to U.S. Study such as selecting the best fit universities, standardized testing, essay writing, scholarships and financial aid opportunities, and more. Students in high school who are in the top 10% of their class and dedicated to achieving their goal of studying in the U.S. are welcome to apply.
