AMIDEAST has worked with colleges, universities, secondary schools and non-profit organizations to facilitate their educational programs in the Arab world for nearly three decades.  AMIDEAST’s knowledgeable local staff works with clients to help with program design (including making suggestions for possible lecture topics and lecturers, organizations to visit, and connections with local governmental, non-governmental and private sector organizations).  Our staff in the UAE can also make logistical arrangements for programs, including local transportation, housing and meals, and excursions/field trips.

Institutions interested in organizing a study tour with AMIDEAST in the UAE should contact AMIDEAST Headquarters in Washington and complete a Short Term Program Request Form (request from  After an initial discussion with Headquarters staff, the UAE staff will become involved in putting together a specific program proposal and a budget is developed.  Planning your institution’s study tour is made easy by your convenient access to our staff in Washington as well as access to local expertise through our staff in the UAE.
