Amideast is pleased to announce that through its partnership with ‘Grow Stronger with Google’, a program by Google that aims to equip people and businesses with digital skills, 2,500 scholarships are being provided for people living in Lebanon, Iraq, and Palestine, to complete Google Career Certificates on Coursera in six high-demand fields: IT Support, Project Management, Data Analytics, UX Design, IT Automation with Python, and Digital Marketing and E-Commerce.
“In a time where everything is going backwards, Amideast gave me the chance to move forward,” says Joelle Samaha, a certified Google UX designer. Joelle, and 2,500 scholarship awardees of Google Career Certificates on Coursera just like her, have gained experience in fields needed in today’s market.

Each Google Career Certificate includes several courses and requires several months to complete and does not require previous degree or experience to be completed. The courses follow a hands-on, practical-based approach.
