Designed for beginner to intermediate learners, the TOEIC Bridge® tests measure all four English communication skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing. You can use TOEIC Bridge scores to:

• Highlight instruction areas that need improvement
• Motivate learners to improve their English-language skills
• Measure program and curriculum effectiveness
• Determine academic and workplace readiness

Levels assessed: Beginner to Low-Intermediate (A1 to B1 on the CEFR) 

Test content and format

The TOEIC Bridge test is an online assessment. TOEIC Bridge measures developing skills in Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing. The Listening and Reading test can be combined with the Speaking, Writing, or the Speaking and Writing test to offer flexibility, efficiency and convenience. The test takes about 2 hours in total.  

The TOEIC Bridge tests focus on communication tasks in everyday life and common workplace scenarios that reflect modern language uses and communication methods.

The score scale for each individual test is 15 to 50.
