Who should take the GRE?
The GRE is designed for:

How and when will I receive my score?
Your official scores will be available in your ETS account about 10–15 days after your test.
How long is my score valid for?
GRE scores are valid for five years from your test date.
How can I register for a test?
Register online through your ETS account or the Amideast eShop using a voucher.
How do I prepare for the GRE?
Use official ETS GRE prep materials—both free and paid—available on the GRE website. Visit the 'Prepare' tab for more details.
Which identification documents shall I bring on the test day?
Bring a valid, government-issued ID that exactly matches the name on your registration.
The GRE General Test is a computer-delivered test. Its test-taker friendly design lets you skip questions within a section, go back and change answers, and have the flexibility to choose which questions within a section you want to answer first.
The overall test time is about 1 hour and 58 minutes. There are five sections.
