The Customer Service Specialist handles walk-ins applying Amideast policy and regulations and offers a professional service to elevate customer experience at Amideast and sell Amideast services. S/he provides customers assistance, receive their requests and carries the necessary steps to fulfil those requirements. The Customer Service Specialist is accountable for courses/tests preparation registrations, books inventory and sales, and informs customers of all Amideast offerings where appropriate. The incumbent of the position will be responsible for achieving the department monthly sales targets as assigned by the direct supervisor.

The Customer Service Specialist handles walk-ins/Online customers applying Amideast policy and regulations and offers a professional service to elevate customer experience at Amideast. S/he provides customers assistance, receive their requests and work accordingly to deliver targets needed. The Customer Service Specialist is also accountable for courses/tests registrations, making outbound calls either for upselling or surveying purposes, the countdown of bookstore, and sell Amideast services and make sure they reach more customers as possible. Handles other tasks assigned by the Senior Customer Service Supervisor.

Cybersecurity and Data Protection Officer (MENA Region)

The Cybersecurity and Data Protection Officer’s role is to ensure the secure operation of on-premise and hosted computer systems, servers, and network connections. This includes checking server and firewall logs, scrutinizing network traffic, establishing and updating virus scans, and troubleshooting. The incumbent will also analyze and resolve security breaches and vulnerability issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and conduct user activity audits where required, work with cloud vendors and evaluate their security practices, and ensure Amideast’s compliance with required cybersecurity standards.

English Language Programs Lead (Egypt)

The English Language Program Lead is responsible for managing the English language portfolio for the Amideast/Egypt office in Cairo, which features English language offerings for fee-for-service courses S/he is responsible for the oversight of all Cairo English language and test prep public classes, in addition to Cairo’s English language corporate clients. S/he will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the EL classes at Amideast Cairo and reporting results of development interventions to the EL Program Manager in Cairo. The English Language Programs Lead will also work closely with staff in Amideast’s Alexandria office, the Amideast Regional Director of English Language Programs, the Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Director, and staff in other departments.

Grants Program Specialist

The Grant Program Specialist provides direct support to the English Language Department focusing on grant projects. The Grant Program Specialist supports in ensuring overall quality programs by ensuring timely and accurate program activities, services, and reporting throughout the duration of the program. Qatar Country Representative (Qatar)

The preferred candidate will be currently based in Qatar and have existing professional contacts in the Qatari business, academic, and philanthropic communities. You will assist in establishing and overseeing the local operations of Amideast, develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders especially from the business and academic communities, and ensure compliance with local regulations. The position will report to the Vice President of Development and External Engagement at Amideast Headquarters in the US, will represent the organization at events, and will spearhead new business and program initiatives. The Qatar Country Representative will also be responsible for monitoring market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and troubleshooting operational challenges. This position requires a balance of demonstrated strategic thinking, marketing and outreach experience, hands-on program and personnel management skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
