Amideast’s English for General Communication program develops your ability to communicate confidently and effectively in everyday situations. As the most popular type of English language training Amideast offers, these courses help tens of thousands of adult English learners yearly develop the spoken and written skills commonly needed today for work, study, and leisure.

Our expert teachers stress both fluency and accuracy as they help you improve your speaking, listening, reading, and writing through engaging activities addressing contemporary topics.

Our English language courses are aligned to the internationally recognized Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and cover six proficiency stages, from beginning to advanced.

Fees and Discounts

  • Tuition fee: $120 early registration; $125 late registration. Due to current market liquidity and exchange rate issues, tuition fees are paid in local currency based on Centeral Bank.
  • Early registration discounts range from $5-$10.
  • Tuition fees include the cost of instruction and use of Amideast’s library and Computer Assisted Language Learning Laboratory. Amideast uses electronic books for many of its courses, which students are able to access on their own devices.
  • Placement Test: $10. For same-day results, add $10. The placement test fee may be paid in local currency based on the Central Bank’s official exchange rate.

Registration and Placement Exams

We are currently offering English Language classes in Aden.
 
New and returning students may register for classes daily, Sunday through Thursday, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
 
New students must take an oral and written placement test. Placement tests are offered daily, Sunday through Thursday, at 8:30 and 10:30 AM. Please bring your ID or passport when you come for the registration test.

تأسس مركز أمديست في عدن في مايو 1998 لتعليم اللغة الإنجليزية والتدريب المهني قصير المدى للعملاء من الشركات وموظفي الحكومة وحاصلي المنح الدراسية والمواطنين العاديين. وقد تطور مركز أمديست في عدن بسرعة منذ إنشائه، وهو الآن يدرب أكثر من ستمائة طالب خلال كل دورة من دوراته التي تستمر سبعة أسابيع.
