We offer our real course syllabi below, but please note that there may be changes each term. The below Area Studies syllabi are a selection of recently offered courses. Prior to the start of your semester abroad, Amideast will notify participants as to which courses are available and participants will have the opportunity to rank their preferences. All courses except for Blended Arabic courses are subject to be dropped due to low enrollment.

Depending on program enrollments and course interest during a given semester, some area studies courses may be offered in a bilingual English-French format.
These syllabi are for the Action Amideast: Social Innovation Abroad summer program in Tunisia. Arabic 116 and Arabic 120 are each 1-credit courses and MENA 390 is 5 credits.
While these courses may still be taught during a future semester, we have not offered them in some time.
