Support The Hope Fund

Higher education remains a dream for many Palestinians, particularly for refugee children—many of whom live in extreme poverty.

The Hope Fund offers a path to higher education for them. Since 2000, it has helped 140 Palestinian men and women—nearly all from refugee backgrounds—receive scholarships for undergraduate study in the United States.

With your donation, we can help more underserved Palestinian youth realize their dreams for higher education.

The late Palestinian scholar Dr. Fahim Qubain and his wife Nancy founded the Hope Fund in 2000, and it operated for the next 15 years as an independent nonprofit organization. During this time, AMIDEAST assisted as its recruitment and selection arm in the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, and Jordan. In 2015, AMIDEAST assumed full responsibility for the Hope Fund, ensuring that it will continue to open doors to higher education for refugee and other underserved Palestinian youth.

The Hope Fund matches academically qualified youth with scholarships from universities and colleges across the United States. But AMIDEAST relies on donations to cover substantial additional costs, from college application and testing fees to travel, visa, health insurance, and other expenses during the four years that students are in college

Please ensure that Palestinian youth continue to benefit from the Hope Fund by making a tax-deductible donation to AMIDEAST.
