Connect with Us

Whether you are interested in an AMIDEAST program, or you are a weathered alum, it is never too late to connect with Education Abroad! We encourage prospective, current, and former students to check out our various social media pages.

The AMIDEAST Facebook page is constantly updated with useful study abroad articles and photos from students on our programs. Additionally, the timeline of Study Abroad in the Arab World serves as a meeting place for accepted students prior to departure. The page is continuously monitored by an Education Abroad staff member, so visitors can get quick answers to any questions. Each semester, Education Abroad holds a photo contest and all current and previous program participants are welcome to submit entries. Voting on semi-finalist photos occurs on our Facebook page.

Student Collaborative Blog

Over the past few years, AMIDEAST Education Abroad has been constructing a student collaborative blog. Our student collaborative blog features student photography, blog posts, creative writing, and more from their time abroad in the Arab World. Students have discussed a wide array of topics, such as host culture food, culture, music, and student interactions, so we encourage you to explore our posting archives. If you are a current or previous student and would like to see your work on our blog, please submit a link or copy of a blog post to

Education Abroad now tweets @ AMIDEAST_Abroad! Daily, we tweet updates on our programs, re-tweet helpful articles on study abroad, and provide links to scholarship opportunities.
