Funded by U.S. Department of State, AMIDEAST Yemen provides English language training to more than 800 school students between the age of 14 and 18 in more than five Yemeni governorates. The two-year Access program, which targets underserved students, focuses also on training and different activities that are of importance to the Access students and their communities.
Access 9 will start in September 2012 and end in August 2014 (12 courses which total up to 780 hours). This scholarship is offered to underserved Yemeni youth whose age range is between 14 and 18. Students not only enhance their English skills but also social skills, leadership, and social responsibility through a wide range of community service and volunteering activities.
Applications for Access 9 will be accepted from May 13, 2012 through June 20, 2012. The application can be downloaded from the link above or picked up at AMIDEAST Sana'a, AMIDEAST Aden, or from our representatives in Taiz and Mukalla.
