Professional Skills Training: Public Speaking Workshop
General Description:
The goal of this course is to improve skills in presenting prepared public speeches in formal settings, and to debate within a formal setting. This will help participants to organize spoken ideas in informal discussions as well.
Learning Objectives:
- Prepare and present several speeches of varying lengths;
- Analyze speeches;
- Gain greater confidence in public speaking;
- Form more informative, structured, clear and influential arguments;
- Study various ways of evaluating public speeches;
- Examine how to critically analyze and debate ideas in public.
