The TFI test is offered monthly to the public in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Advance registration is required.

Companies and educational institutions can also arrange for group testing at AMIDEAST's offices or other locations of their choice.

What is the TFI™ test?

The TFI test is a French language proficiency test for non-native speakers of French. It certifies the French skills of test takers from beginner to advanced levels, in both academic and business settings.

 Why the TFI™ test?

Spoken by over 170 million people daily, French is widely used in international business and communication. A student wanting to study in a Francophone nation, or a professional looking to work in an international environment with multiple languages, can use TFI™ test scores to prove their competence in the language, since the TFI™ test is recognized as reliable and valid worldwide.

Who uses the TFI™ test?

  • HR managers in making recruitment decisions

 What is the format of the TFI™ test?

The TFI™ test lasts around 110 minutes, with 180 questions divided into listening and reading sections. Score range per section is 5 to 495 points; the total score, therefore, ranges from between 10 to 990 points.
