AMIDEAST strives to provide accurate, comprehensive, current, and unbiased information on educational opportunities in the United States. Our office is part of the EducationUSA network of approximately 450 advising centers worldwide affiliated with the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. All AMIDEAST advising centers adhere to EducationUSA ethical standards.
The Educational Information Center (EIC) in Tunis maintains an extensive collection of materials on U.S. and regional educational opportunities available for public use. Additionally, the EIC provides numerous educational and career information services, including free introductory public information sessions on various aspects of U.S. education, individual consultations on U.S. study, and application support services. A membership and career support program is also available for U.S. graduates returning to Tunisia. Support for institutions is offered in such areas as testing, training, recruitment of students or employees, and development and accreditation of American-model educational programs.
