برنامج المنح المجانية المصغرة لتعلم اللغة الإنجليزية "Access" في مصر 2011

يهدف برنامج المنح المجانية المصغرة لتنمية مهارات اللغة الانجليزية الأساسية عند الطلاب الموهوبين الذين تتراوح أعمارهم ما بين الرابعة عشر والسادسة عشر، يُنَظم البرنامج لهؤلاء الطلاب تدريباً على اللغة الانجليزية بعد انتهاء اليوم الدراسي، بالإضافة إلى أنشطةٍ تعليميةٍ مكثّفةٍ خلال الإجازة الصيفية. يُكسِب البرنامج المشاركين مهارات اللغة الانجليزية التي تُيَسر لهم الحصول على وظائف مرموقة وتفتح لهم آفاقاً تعليميةً أرحب. كما يؤهلهم البرنامج للمنافسة للالتحاق ببرامج التبادل والدراسة في الولايات المتحدة والمشاركة فيها. وقد أحتضنت برامج “Access” حتى الآن أثنين وثلاثين الف طالباً في خمسين دولةٍ، وذلك منذ إنطلاقها لأول مرة في عام 2004 . يجري تطبيق البرنامج الآن في احدى عشر محافظة: الفيوم وبني سويف والمنيا وأسيوط وأسوان والقاهرة والإسكندرية وبورسعيد وقنا وشمال سيناء و كفر الشيخ.

شروط الالتحاق بالبرنامج:

  1. يمكن للطلبة من الجنسين الالتحاق بالبرنامج.
  2. أن يكون الطالب مصري الجنسية .
  3. أن يكون ملتحقاً بإحدى المدارس الحكومية أو الأزهرية أو الفنية ويتعين ألا يقل سن الطالب عن ثلاثة عشر عاماً وثمانية أشهر وألا يزيد عن الخامسة عشر عاماً وأربعة أشهر في شهر يونيو 2011.

International Fellowship Program (IFP)

The International Fellowships Program, which AMIDEAST administers in Egypt and Palestine, provides a select number of exceptional students with the financial support necessary to pursue up to three years of graduate study at any college or university in the world. The program attracts students from diverse backgrounds but is targeted toward individuals from communities that routinely lack access to higher education. IFP seeks to instill within these future leaders the skills and knowledge needed to improve social and economic conditions within their communities. In addition to providing financial assistance for travel, living expenses and tuition, IFP also offers preliminary short-term training including language instruction, workshops on research skills, and computer training.

A total of 321 students, 172 Egyptians and 149 Palestinians, have been selected since the start of the program in 2002 and began their studies at universities throughout the world.
